FMP Anotation 2
Deciding that The portraits weren't to my liking i had to change subject wile keeping with the same theme. After looking at the work of Ed Ruscha, specifically Sunset boulivard, I tried to combine that art style of capturing a whole street in ‘one image’ and the concept of anonymity. To combine the two I decided to photograph a whole street and then remove all the signs and writing from it so that it became anonymous. To capture the images I needed i walked down the street taking pictures as I went to capture every building on the other side. it toke more then one attempt to get this right as i had to make sure that the images where all taken at roughly the same angel and at the same focal length and focus plane. although the sticking isn't perfect because at points there are small sections of cars and in areas the, as hard as i tried, the images don't perfectly line up. I do however then the aesthetic of this image with all its un even edges can be quite pleasing because you can see how its constructed. To paint over then signs I used a mixture of the clone stamp tool and the pain brush. Although time consuming I am pleased with the amount of work i got don't on the image and the final result works as a concept.
